Meet the Woman Bringing Common Sense Back to Wellness.

Founder of Farms Before Pharms

Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Mom, & Rural Wellness Coach

Growing up around agriculture and living the demands of rural life has shown that wellness looks different when your days start early, your schedule changes with the seasons, and there is always another chore waiting.

That’s why Farms Before Pharms was built.

Every woman deserves to feel strong enough to keep up with the life she loves, have steady energy that lasts all day, and feel confident in her body without following another complicated plan.

Since becoming a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Alexa has helped women simplify nutrition through real food, practical habits, and personalized coaching that fits real life. Because lasting health isn’t created by perfection. It’s created by a strong foundation that’s sustainable for years to come.

My Story

I’m a rural single mom juggling a lot — kids, chores, a full-time job off the farm, and the responsibility of caring for 21 animals. Some days that looks like early mornings, late nights, and figuring it all out on my own.

I’m also a girlfriend to a rancher, an alpaca breeder, a lifelong horse girl, a hiker when I can sneak away, and someone who genuinely loves a quiet moment with a good book. But there was a season where I barely survived the work day, tucking my toddler in to bed, and collapsing in to my own. I was exhausted, dealing with fluctuating weight, waking up in the middle of the night, painful periods, and snappy with those around me.

I tried the things most women try because it worked for the women I saw online... I bought the supplements (a lot of them). I tried eating less, and instead of feeling better I felt worse… and eventually wrecked my hormones. I was spending money, trying harder, and still not feeling better. It was an exhausting cycle producing some temporary results, but nothing long term. So I decided to pursue becoming a Certified Nutritional Practitioner because I realized I was focusing on quick fixes instead of foundations, but wanted the education to discover how exactly to go about that.

Through my education and personal experience I now focus on the four pillars that actually move the needle:

  1. Nutrition

  2. Stress Management

  3. Sleep Habits

  4. Exercise Routine

None of these produced overnight results, but I finally started feeling like myself again.

That’s why I created Farms Before Pharms because I know there are other rural moms out there doing everything on their own, quietly running on empty, and wondering if this is just how life is supposed to feel but it’s not.

You deserve to feel energized, clear-headed, and confident even in the middle of busy life out here.
